Heute (15. Oktober) gab es unliebsamem Besuch von unliebsamen Berufsgruppen. RWE–Securities und Cops kamen ins Barrio: Geschützt von einer Hundertschaft sammelten Einsatzleitung und Klettercops Infos und Fotos zur Planung der Räumung.
Dies kommt nicht überraschend – wir gehen schon lange von einer Räumung Anfang der Rodungssaison aus. Die Stadt Kerpen hat eine Historie sich von RWE für Konzerninteressen einspannen zu lassen. Wir rechnen jetzt jederzeit mit einer Räumung.

Trotzdem lassen wir uns durch diese Bedrohungslage nicht einschüchtern. Wir kämpfen weiterhin für den Erhalt des Sündi, gegen das Manheimer Loch!

Today (October 15), we had some unwelcome visitors from some unwelcome professions. RWE Securities and cops came to the Barrio: protected by police, the operations command and climbing cops gathered information and photos to plan the eviction.

This comes as no surprise—we have long expected an eviction at the beginning of the clearing season. The city of Kerpen has a history of allowing itself to be used by RWE for corporate interests. We now expect an eviction at any time.

Nevertheless, we will not be intimidated by this threatening situation. We will continue to fight for the preservation of the Sündi and against the Mannheim hole!
