Folgende Mail erreichte uns von unseren FreundInnen in Finnland.
Laut Website läuft da zur Zeit eine Aktionswoche. Das Camp verhindert den Bau eines neuen Atomkraftwerkes. Heute gab es massive Angriffe durch die dortige Polizei.

„Im Laufe des Tages verhafteten die Bullen 35 Leute. Die meiten von ihnen sind inzwichen wieder frei. Neun Leute sind noch in Haft und 4-6 vin ihnen werden von Abschiebung bedroht. (During the day cops arrested 35 people. Most of them are released by now. 9 people are kept in custody still and 4-6 of them are faced with threat of deportation.)“

Ob die Polizei auf die friedliche Blockadeaktion mit dem gewaltsamen Angriff aufs Camp antwortete? Ein direkter Zusammenhang lässt sich zumindest nicht ausschließen.

The police attacked the ‚Stop Fennovoima camp‘ at Pyhäjoki – We need help immediately!
Today 28.4. around 3 pm, a riot cops and a police patrol with dogs started to approach the camp. We communicated clearly to the police with a megaphone that they are not welcome, and we don’t want to engage in conflict with them. The police didn’t say anything or answer to any questions.
The police started to shoot people with a projectile / rubber bullet gun and the people at the camp defended themselves by throwing rocks. The police was clearly aiming for the activists heads, backheads and upper bodies with the gun. People got hit several times on the area of their upper bodies. As far as we know, not to the heads though.. The police got hit several times with the rocks, and there was one police car burning up in flames at the area.
After a long struggle with delay tactics, the police managed to move ahead to the camp when the people who were defending the camp disappeared to the forest. In the camp the police shot projectiles towards the kitchen-collective people. The police evacuated all the people from the camp, and took some people into custody.
The police has also threatened to evict another camp location which is still in our use.
We don’t accept giving in to repression and police violence, and the struggle against Fennovoima will continue. Now we’ll need everyone to help build up the camp again, and to continue the fight and actions against Fennovoima. We invite comrades to this fight where ever you are – let’s aim our actions towards the companies which are working with/for Fennovoima, the embassies of Finland, or the local police.“
„Die Polizei hat das ‚Stop Fennovoima camp‘ bei Pyhäjoki angegriffen – Wir brauchen sofortige Unterstützung!
Heute, am 28.04 um 15:00 näherten sich Einheiten von Riot Cops und Polizei dem Camp. Wir kommunizierten der Polizei deutlich durch ein Megafon, dass sie nicht willkommen sind, dass wir jedoch kein Interesse haben, mit ihnen in Konflikt zu geraten. Die Polizei hat darauf nicht reagiert.
Die Polizei begann, mit Gummigeschossen auf Aktivisten zu schießen. Die Aktivisten wehrten sich durch Steinwürfe. Die Polizei zielte mit ihren Gewehren deutlich erkennbar auf die Köpfe, Hinterköpfe und Oberkörper der Aktivistis. Diese wurden vielfach am Oberkörper getroffen, so weit wir wissen jedoch nicht am Kopf. Doch auch die Polizei bekam einige Treffer durch Steine ab. In der Nähe ging ein Poizeiauto in Flammen auf.
Nach einem langen Kampf mit Verzögerungstaktik schaffte die Polizei es, zum Camp vorzudringen, nachdem die Aktivisten die das Camp zuvor verteidigt hatten, in den Wald verschwunden waren. Im Camp schoss die Polizei mit Gummigeschossen auf die Aktivisten des Küchenkollektivs. Alle Menschen wurden durch die Polizei evakuiert, einige wurde in Gewahrsam genommen.
Die Polizei hat außerdem gedroht, ein weiteres Camp zu räumen, das von uns genutzt wird.
Wir werden uns von der Repression und Polizeigewalt nicht einschüchtern lassen. Der Kampf gegen Fennovoima geht weiter.
Wir brauchen nun alles und jeden der uns hilft, unser Camp wieder aufzubauen und mit Kampf und Aktionen gegen Fennovoima vorzugehen. Wir fordern alle Genoss_innen wo auch immer ihr seid auf, mit Aktionen gegen Unternehmen vorzugehen, die mit und für Fennovoima arbeiten, gegen finnische Botschaften oder die lokale Polizei.“
